When a big, red, inflamed pimple decides to make a guest appearance the first reaction is to pop it with the fingers, me included, but could this really be making things worse, rather than better?…
The simple answer to that question is “YES” popping a pimple is never a good idea as there is always a massive risk of making it worse.
The Risks You Take Each Time You Pop A Pimple Include…
- More breakouts
- Acne marks
- Long term scarring
These are the main risks you take. I bet you have already experienced bullet 1, 2, 3 and possible 4 already – you are very lucky if you have not, but 5 happens a lot less often but it does happen and it’s always a risk, a risk I would rather avoid. What About you?
The Best Approach
The best approach is to leave the pimple heal naturally, but this takes an age and is not an option for most of us.
The second best approach on is what I like to call the BOBBY POPPING PIMPLE POPPER TECHNIQUE.
This is a technique that I used to help get rid of pimples in a much more safe manner on how to pop a pimple than just squeezing your fingers into the effected area until it erupts.
These Are The Steps You Need To Follow:
Clean the area with an acne cleanser.
With a sterile needle very gently nick the surface of the pimple (extreme caution is advised)
With a Q-tip, or cotton ball drain the surface of the pimple very gentle. Being gentle is crucial when draining the pimple.
Apply an anti-bacterial product on the spot, I recommend a natural product such as tea tree oil, however you can also use benzoyl peroxide or similar products.
Follow these Bobby popping pimple popper steps and you reduce the risks significantly when it comes to getting rid of pimples.
Did The Bobby Popping Pimple Popper Technique Work For You?
If you have tried the technique and it worked for you I would love it if you could share this with others to help them, and drop a line or two in the comment section if you have time to let me know.
