I hate pimples, heck everyone hates pimples. When a pimple shows its face in the morning the first thing I do is pop it. POP!
However this is not the best approach to get rid of them. The reason it’s not the best approach comes down to a few reasons:
3. Additional pimples
These are the 4 main reasons you do not want to go popping them pimples. If them 4 reasons ain’t enough to make you think twice when you go pop that next one you need to ask yourself whether you really want clear skin?
You may now be thinking “Bobby, how do I get rid of pimples then?”…
Bobby Popping Pimple Popper Technique
One method is the Bobby Popping Pimple Popper Technique. This is a dermatologist recommended method and is a much safer option.
You can use this method to reduce the risk of the 4 possible side effects listed above.
The Healthy Habits Challenge Technique
Do nothing! That’s what I will be doing during this 30 day challenge.
What I mean by do nothing is when a pimple appears I will leave it alone to heal naturally. This will be extremely difficult as you can imagine.
There is nothing that makes you feel more self-conscious than a big pus filled pimple on your cheek or forehead, and I am the most self-conscious person you will ever meet.
I am so self conscious that I cannot walk passed anyone with thinking people are talking about me. I am that bad.
Anyway sorry for going on a bit to much, let’s get down to exactly what the healthy habits challenge 2 is all about.
Do not pop pimples during the 30 day challenge, plus keep touching the face to a minimum unless necessary such as washing etc.
1. Not allowed to pop more than 3 pimples during the entire 30 day challenge.
2. Only allowed to touch the face a maximum of 5 times a day.
3. If I fail these requirements any 5 days during the challenge I will fail the over-all challenge.
That’s it. In writing it seems like a very easy challenge right, just don’t touch my face or squeeze any pimples and I have passed with flying colors. Yay!
But the reality is as you will know not squeezing pimples or touching the face is very difficult, it’s as if it’s automatic these days and we don’t always realize we are doing it.
I am confident I can do this, but then again I said the same about the last one, so I will just take this one day by day and see how I get on.
I will most likely update this page every 10-15 days to share with you how the challenge is going, whether my skin is improving, and to find out how all you guys are getting on.
